Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 September 2026

This policy explains what selfscovery collects when you take a quiz, why we hold it, who else sees it, and how you get it back or have it deleted. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Who is responsible for your data

[Legal entity name], [Street, city, postal code, country], registration number [Registration number], operates selfscovery and is the controller of the personal data described here. For anything in this policy, including requests about your own data, write to [contact@example.com].

What we collect

  • Your account. An email address, and if you sign in with Google, the name and profile details Google returns. You can also sign in with a one-time link sent to your email.
  • Your quiz answers and results. The options you selected, and the scores calculated from them. Scores are computed by our own code from your answers, never invented.
  • Your portrait. The written interpretation generated from your scores, stored so you do not have to wait for it again.
  • Purchases. Which quizzes you bought and when. We never see or store your card number: payment happens on Stripe's own hosted page.
  • Technical data. The cookies that keep you signed in, and standard server logs. We do not run advertising or analytics trackers.

Quizzes about wellbeing and money

Some quizzes ask how you have been feeling, how you cope with stress, or how you handle money. Those answers can say something personal about you, so we treat them as the most sensitive thing we hold. You choose to take each quiz, and you can delete your results at any time by asking us at [contact@example.com].

Results are a mirror for reflection. A result describes patterns in your answers and carries no diagnostic, medical or financial standing.

Why we are allowed to hold it

  • To give you what you bought. Storing your answers, scores and portrait is how the service works at all. Without them there is no result to show you.
  • Because you asked us to. Sensitive quiz answers are processed on the basis of your consent, given when you choose to take that quiz. You can withdraw it by deleting the result.
  • To run the business safely. Keeping the service secure and preventing abuse is our legitimate interest.
  • Because the law says so. Payment and invoicing records are kept for the period tax law requires.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. We use these providers:

  • Supabase hosts the database and handles sign-in.
  • Stripe processes payments and receives what it needs to take the payment. Your card details go to Stripe directly and never pass through us.
  • Anthropic generates the written interpretation. It receives only the finished scores, for example a dimension name and a percentage. Your individual answers are not sent.

These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under the safeguards required by data protection law.

When you share a link

You can create a link that shows your portrait to anyone who opens it. The link is yours to hand out. It contains a long random token and the page is kept out of search engines, but anyone who has the link can see what it shows, so share it the way you would share a screenshot.

To take a shared link out of service, write to [contact@example.com] and we will remove it.

How long we keep it

Your account, results and portrait stay until you ask us to delete them. Records of purchases are kept for as long as tax law requires. If you paid without an account, the purchase is held against your email address only until you sign in and claim it, and is removed once that happens.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected, have it deleted, ask us to restrict or stop certain processing, or receive it in a portable format. Write to [contact@example.com] and we will answer within one month.

If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to [Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky], or to the authority in the country where you live.

Cookies

We set the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to complete a purchase. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, so there is no consent banner to click through.

Age

selfscovery is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, write to [contact@example.com] and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle your data, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
